Cpt. Arthur "Bo" Felder spent much of his life giving back to the community. Remembered by his friends and neighbors as a person of faith and prayer, he is also remembered through his involvement and positive impact on the youth of Arkansas. Cpt. Felder found pleasure in his service as a youth minister and also worked at Step One Alternative school in Little Rock, a school for troubled youth. "We've had some hard kids to get to, troubled kids from one extreme to the other," said Rev. Eric Alexander, pastor of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock. "He would just walk up and put an arm around them, and before you'd know it, they were best friends with 'Mr. Bo,' and whatever he said, they would do."
Cpt. Felder also spent nearly two decades serving his nation in the Army and National Guard. During that time, he was deployed in peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Honduras. My condolences and prayers go out to Cpt. Felder's ex-wife, Brenda; his daughter Amari; his son Jaelun; his mother, Dr. Cheryl Stuart; his brothers Robert Stuart and Littrelle Felder; and his two sisters Gwendolyn Gingery and Kelana Greer.
