Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS)

 

CARS , known as “Cash for Clunkers,” will allow consumers to receive a voucher of up to $4,500 toward the purchase or qualified lease of a new car or truck valued at less than $45,000. To qualify, the new vehicle must be more fuel-efficient than the current vehicle.
